Building Confidence

Hello Ladies,

One definition of confidence is, “A feeling of self-assurance arising from one’s appreciation of one’s own abilities or qualities.”

When deciding what I would call my business I choose the word Confident,   I wanted the Lip Confident Group to be a place to build my own Confidence, and of course I want to help other women be more confident in themselves.

I believe that something as simple as smudge proof lipstick can help a woman feel, therefore BE more confident. Who doesn’t want that for themselves and every single lady around them?

We all know, lack of confidence can stem from a number of different things, everyone is different and we all have issues. Most of those issues we never talk about. I am going to assume that, since you are on this page you are trying to take the next step in building your confidence and self love.

So am I trying!  I started by asking myself some simple questions, I want you to do the same. Grab a pen and write down your answers. Or, if you are feeling brave, share them with us and write them in the comments.

  • If you want to start making changes in your life ask yourself these questions…

1.  What can I start doing to strengthen how I feel about myself? What can I stop doing?

2. What activities make me happy? How can I incorporate that into my life, everyday?

3. What is one small change I can make this week that will help me feel more in control of my life?

  • If finances is an issue, ask yourself these questions:

1. What do I spend money on that does not add value to my life?

2. What do I spend money on that does not make me happy?

3. What steps can I take to feel more confident financially?

  • If relationships are an issue, ask yourself these questions:

1. Do I surround myself with people who make me feel better?

2. Do I have people in my life who are constantly being negative?

3. Do I have people in my life who bring out the best of my qualities?

Re-read your answers once you are done and start brainstorming how you can make changes to become a more confident you!

I am by no means an expert, I am working though this just like you are. I hope it help but, my advice may not work for you. Feel free to share how you are making changes to be more self-confident.

xoxo
